TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dover Rockaway

We had a one night stay at TownePlace Suites-Dover. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and professional. The rooms are well designed, though the seating is a bit awkward given TV location (we watched the World Cup final!). There is a small kitchen area in the entry area, the main room with a desk and an adjacent couch that faces the bed. The space between the furniture is somewhat tight, so might be challenging for a longer stay. The bathroom is well equipped, has wall mounted shampoo/conditioner/gel dispensers (kudos for eliminating the singe use plastic containers) bot is otherwise small. They cleverly have a closet that opens both to the entrance area and the bathroom. The 'fitness center' has limited equipment: treadmills and an elliptical. Limited floor space. I used the pool deck to do yoga with one of the two mats. Breakfast has the obligatory waffle maker, some bagels/bread for toast, 3 dry cereals, 2 hot items (scrambled eggs and ?), juice options and a few yogurts. No non-dairy 'milk' products. The location is at the end of roadway, with only 3 buildings total: a storage facility, another brand suites hotel and this place. Nothing accessible except by car, which pretty much characterizes the general area.

Hands down the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and in a great location.
